The SUNY Adirondack Library has an extensive local history collection called the Hill Collection. The Hill Collection consists of 1,600 books and local history material from the mid-18th century to the present. If you have in-depth research projects involving the Hill Collection, you may want to meet with historian Paul McCarty. He is available in the Hill Collection on most Thursday mornings or by appointment (email: mccartyr@sunyacc.edu).

In the greater Glens Falls area, you may also want to contact local history organizations such as the Chapman Museum, Warren County Historical Society and others.
