The CRW is part of the college's English Division. When you visit the CRW, you’ll meet with a student or faculty tutor to discuss your assignment.

  • If it’s a reading assignment, you may discuss different reading strategies (e.g. note taking, highlighting, etc).
  • If it’s a writing assignment, you may brainstorm ideas or discuss the content of your draft. Some students visit the CRW for help with grammar and punctuation. Other students seek a reader’s response.  Others just want to chat about their assignments, study skills or college experiences.

Each CRW tutor is trained to work with people as individuals; therefore, each tutoring session will be different, as your individual concerns determine the nature of your session.
