Yes! See the Reading Ideas link below.
Here are more ideas, depending on what you like to read:
- Search for a subject, or just browse the books in a certain subject area. Ask a librarian for guidance.
- You can browse call number P in the 2nd floor library stacks.
- PR and PS are good places to start - those are the English and American literature sections.
Or, you can search in the library's "Start Your Research Here" box, limiting it to Books. When you get your results, under Library Location, click Circulating to limit it to print books. Librarians only buy the best-reviewed books, so what's in our library tends to be good reading!
Here are some topics to search:
- Search for books using terms like graphic novel or fiction or autobiographies or biographies.
- Or, search for a more specific idea, like mystery stories or Holmes, Sherlock or horror stories or King, Stephen.
- If you like humor, try a search for Humor, or wit and humor.
- Search for books by popular authors like Chelsea Handler, Tina Fey or David Sedaris.
- See the links below for more.
- Ask a librarian or your English instructor for more ideas!
