Only students and faculty are able to make requests via the library's "Start Your Research Here" page. Make sure to sign into your account with your college username/password to make a request. See below for instructions:

 

From the library homepage, enter search terms in the Start Your Research Here search box, and click search

 

Find the desired item in the search results, and click on the record

 

Sign into to view the Request feature

 

Enter you login credentials (your network ID & password) and click login






 

You can now view the Request feature. Click Request for pickup at Library Circulation Desk

 

Click Send Request (the request will go to Library Circulation Staff for processing.)


 

A verification notice will appear if the request was sent successfully

 

The student/faculty member does not have to do anything else at this point. When the item is retrieved from the shelves upstairs, it will go to a “Hold Shelf” area at the circulation desk. The student/faculty member will receive an automatic email from the library when the item is ready to be picked up at the circulation desk. Items must be retrieved within 14 days, which is also noted on the email to the student/faculty member.
